Hacking Abundance Part I

flow-wavesAbundance researchers spend a fair amount of time cataloging the impact that the radical wealth transfer to younger, more engaged winners of the information economy has had on global philanthropy.
But they don’t unpack why the Gates, Omidyars, and even Zuckerbergs of the world, may be choosing to spend their fortunes differently than the Robber Barrons of prior booms.

Flow: The Experience of Divine Excellence

By Ryan Nakade

DivineFlowWhether it is art, music, scientific brilliance or record shattering Olympian athleticism, people in different fields have been able to transcend the ego and manifest the impossible. These acts of greatness exemplify the pinnacle of human excellence; exhibiting our highest potential; transcendental performances unleashed upon the world, forever etched into the history books for years and years to come. So how do these people do it? What’s their secret? It’s simple. They get into the zone.

I remember when I first experienced the zone when I was playing basketball. The game was tied, so the next team to score won. I grabbed the ball, charged the basket, jumped into the air — but as my legs were floating above the ground, time stopped. It was as if I was going through a wormhole — everything was going in slow motion. As I was levitating up there for what seemed to have been an eternity, I became completely one with the basket, hardly noticing the defenders or anything else on the court. I made an unmissable game winning shot, something out of an ESPN highlight reel. I felt like Michael Jordan — pumped, unstoppable, and enraptured from the intensity of the climactic game-winner. It was an experience I will never forget.

The Law of Flow

by

Quantum-EntanglementLike the ebb and flow of the tides, so is the flow of energy throughout the Universe!

Everything constantly moves. Nothing ever remains static or the same. Each moment is the most important moment in your life and there will never be another like it.

By loving yourself a little more each day, strangers across the globe will be affected. Diana Cooper says “a polar bear cannot sneeze in the Arctic without a grain of sand moving in the Sahara”  All the energy in the Universe is flowing.
When we look at the presence of natural water within our lives (which represent emotions) we are able to see the effects of our emotions.

Spiritual Flow – Ordinary Moments

by Cheryl Jewett

When is the last time you felt life ‘flowing’ uncontrollably within and around you? Did you find it to be exciting or frightening?

For most of us control freaks, it can be extremely discomforting. By becoming aware of the energy of spiritual flow which circulates through us and all of creation, we can focus on the positive aspect of it, feeling an awesome serenity and freedom.

By simply practicing a Tao concept, Wu Wei, a doing without doing, a being without being, we learn an easy acceptance of what is, rather than what we demand to be.

Does this mean we just sit back and let life slide on by? No, not at all.

The Fundamental Question

By Ed Lemberger

spiritwaterThis fundamental question, once understood, activated and applied on a daily basis, by you, by using your own God Given thinking mind, will gradually transform you from wherever you are into a person who consistently receives a harmonious internal living space that is powerful, protected and secure. Are you ready to receive this transformation? Of course you are! And you already have the necessary resources available to do it right here right now! And these resources have nothing to do with anything that exists outside of you… or anywhere else in the material world for that matter.

How to Change Your Energy

by Deepak Chopra

3ffcfe2e8e5f6de2a949921056893ff3For most people, the greatest good you could do for yourself is to change your energy. Your emotions give off energy that can be positive or negative. It’s a common experience to walk into a room and feel tension in the air, as opposed to a room where the atmosphere is cheerful and relaxed. We tend to assume that energy is physical, but two people can eat the same lunch and wind up with totally different energy. One person may be depressed, unhappy and stuck in her ways, while the other is alert, vibrant and creative.

Clearly it’s not the food they ate that made the difference but a subtler level of energy—the level where mood, emotions, motivation, aspirations and beliefs exist. It takes energy to keep this level of life going, so when we say that someone is giving off negative energy, what we really mean is that at the subtle level of mind and body, negative beliefs are consuming energy and turning it into negative actions, words and thoughts.

Find the Flow

by Deepak Chopra and Annie B. Bond

spiritual-energyBe in the Flow
If you want to be in the flow of life, you can’t struggle against it at the same time. The ego must examine its fears and stop trying to control. That is one huge part of the quest you are on. If you can accept the flow of life and give in to it, you will be accepting what is real. Only when you accept what is real can you live with it in peace and happiness. The alternative is struggle that will never end because it is a struggle with the unreal, with a mirage of life instead of life itself. Continue reading

Divine Flow Meditation

Here is one of the guided meditations from The Consciousness of Wealth online course with Alice Bandy, entitled Divine Flow. This is part an 8 week self study course to help you finally get rid of your money issues and live a life of freedom and well being.

Stillpower: The True Path to Flow

Stillness and FlowLet’s be clear about this. The zone is not about trying hard. You can’t force it. The zone feels effortless because you’re operating at a higher state of consciousness. Although athletes in the zone are incredibly locked in, their focus is never forced.

Same thing goes at work. You’ve never had to push hard to find a great insight. If you think on your best performances or purest experiences in life, were you trying to exert a force on it? Most of the athletes I work with tell me that when they find the zone they simply “let go” and just absorb themselves in the present moment. It’s a selfless experience. Continue reading
